Micron's grommets & washers are made of heavy duty brass and are nickel-plated (white and black painted). Grommets are composed of two parts: the eyelet and the washer.
These two parts are set in place through and around a punched hole to make a secure strong hard edge to the hole through the material. They are designed in such a way that there is plenty on metal in the center to make sure that the eyelets have a good chance of staying in place and our setting tools finish the job to a high degree of satisfaction.
