This snap uses a spring socket, and a post-attached stud. It has a gentle action, and is suitable for use with lightweight or technical fabrics. The spring is enclosed, which protects it from foreign contamination, and tends to maintain its consistent snap action over the life of the garment, even under harsh conditions.
