Description

The Circle Fabric-Covered Button is a hand-sewn, no-backer style. It stitches directly to the garment, therefore the finish sits low and clean while perfectly matching your fabric. Ideal for bridal gowns, tuxedo jackets, eveningwear, uniforms, and accessories.

How it works

  1. First, cut a fabric circle with MICRON® cutting dies.

  2. Next, place the button backer in the bottom die.

  3. Then, lay the fabric wrong side up in the top die, set the aluminum shell (cup-side up) on the fabric, bring dies together, flip, and press on the MD-1.
    As a result, the wrap is tight and permanent—no glue required.

Construction & compatibility

  • Precision-machined, hardened steel; polished bores protect delicate fabrics.

  • Quick changeover on the MD-1 manual button cover machine.

  • Use with matching shells

How to attach
Place the button on the garment and sew by hand with matching thread. For high-stress areas, add extra stitches or a small stay.
