Dual-action self-piercing grommet dies in carbon steel are designed for the MICRON® America MC-20 Single Cylinder machine. These dies pierce and set self-piercing grommets with washers in one seamless workflow, making them ideal for high-volume production. As a result, operators save valuable time while ensuring clean, accurate fastening on fabrics, canvas, and technical textiles.

How It Works

1. Place the washer on the lower die.

2. Position the fabric on top.

3. The machine delivers the first strike, piercing the fabric.

4. Insert the self-piercing grommet.

5. The second strike secures the grommet and washer.

This two-step system keeps the fabric fixed. Therefore, no shifting occurs, and the result is strong and consistent.
