7/16″ Rolled Rim Grommet Hand Tool Kit – Size #2 | Hole Cutting Tool, Die & Base Included

This hand tool kit is designed for setting rolled rim grommets and spur washers in size #2 (7/16”). The kit includes a hole cutter, inserting die, die block, and a durable plastic base for manual installation. Please note that grommets and washers are not included and must be purchased separately.

Rolled rim grommets feature a smooth rolled edge, while spur washers have interlocking teeth that grip canvas, vinyl, or leather firmly. As a result, this design ensures a rugged, reliable, and long-lasting setting.

In addition, the kit is practical for both hobbyists and professionals who need portable tools for occasional use. It is often applied to tarps, awnings, boat covers, marine canvas, saddlery, and heavy-duty textiles. Therefore, it provides a dependable solution for a wide variety of applications.

• Compatibility: Same size as Stimpson grommet #2.

• Installation Notes:

  • Always use a wooden or rawhide mallet (not a steel hammer).

  • First, cut the hole with the included cutter.

  • Next, position the grommet and washer correctly.

  • Finally, tap lightly to align, then strike firmly until the grommet is fully set.
