Heavy-duty rolled rim grommet dies in carbon steel are built for the MICRON® America MC-20 Double Cylinder machine. These dies set rolled rim grommets with spur washers on thick, multi-layer materials such as webbing, straps, tarps, and military fabrics. As a result, fastening is faster, cleaner, and more reliable than traditional die systems.

Unlike older methods requiring frequent die swaps or multiple machines, this two-step system performs both cutting and setting in sequence. Therefore, downtime is reduced, productivity increases, and accuracy improves.

How It Works

1. Place the washer on the lower die.

2. Position the fabric or webbing.

3. The machine delivers the first strike, cutting a clean hole.

4. Insert the rolled rim grommet.

5. The second strike locks the grommet and washer securely.

This two-step process ensures the material stays fixed in place, preventing shifting and delivering consistent results.
