Industrial Plastic Grommet Two-Step Installation, Cutting and Setting Dies

MICRON® America introduces the Industrial Plastic Grommet Two-Step Installation, Cutting and Setting Dies to improve productivity and fastening quality. Traditionally, customers used hole-piercing dies first and then separate setting dies. With this two-step system, operators complete both hole-punching and setting without moving the fabric.

How It Works

1. Place the washer on the lower die.

2. Position the fabric on top.

3. The machine performs the first strike – piercing the fabric cleanly.

4. Place the grommet on the lower die.

5. The machine performs the second strike – fastening the grommet and washer securely.

This method keeps the fabric fixed in place, making the process faster, cleaner, and more reliable.

• Works with MICRON® America machines: TEP-3, M-3, PL-10, and MC-20

• Made of stainless steel for durability, long life, and rust resistance

Plastic Grommet Compatibility

These dies are designed for polycarbonate grommets in sizes:

• #1 (21/64″)

• #2 (13/32”)

• #3 (15/32″)
