M-200 Oblong (Oval) Grommet Cutting & Setting Die Sets

M-200 oblong grommet cutting and setting dies create a clean slot and then roll the grommet for a strong, professional finish. As a result, you get smooth edges and consistent setting on canvas, leather and fabric. Moreover, the kit separates the cutting and setting steps so operators can work faster with fewer errors.

What’s included

• Cutting dies: top die plus plastic Teflon lower board—no pre-punch required.

• Setting dies: top die plus 12 mm (15/32″) smooth base lower die that curls the grommet and washer together.

• Top dies (cutting and setting): 3/8″ (9.5 mm) smooth shaft

• Cutting lower die: plastic Teflon board (anvil)

• Setting lower die: 12 mm (15/32″) smooth base

• Compatible grommet opening (M-200): 7/32″ × 27/32″ (≈ 5.56 × 21.43 mm) ✅

Machine compatibility

Works with MICRON® TEP-3 and M-3 manual presses, and the MC-20 pneumatic press. Installation is quick and, in addition, the dies seat securely for repeatable results on small production runs.

Applications

Choose an oblong slot when a strap, tape or webbing must pass through smoothly. Therefore, these dies are ideal for bag straps, belts, footwear, small leather goods, labels and light canvas work. For example, repair shops use M-200 to add strap pass-throughs on purses and cases.
