The MC-20 Single Cylinder Semi-Heavy Duty Pneumatic Fastening Machine is a CE-certified MICRON® brand machine Made in Europe. This model serves small to medium-sized businesses that need reliable fastening with accuracy and speed. Because of its flexible design, it installs snaps, grommets, rivets, jean buttons, spring snaps, and ring snaps with consistent results.

Key Features

The MC-20 delivers 450 kg/cm² pressure, which is ideal for semi-heavy duty production. It supports fasteners from #1.7 (1/8”) to #8 (1-¼”) sheet metal grommets. In addition, the interchangeable dies allow quick changes between fasteners. The machine includes a laser pointer for precise alignment and a digital control panel that shows piston stroke and fastener counts. Moreover, operators can choose an optional foot pedal for hands-free work. The unit runs on 110V or 220V AC power and requires a 150 PSI air compressor. A spacer is included to keep material positioning consistent.

• Jean buttons and rivets (all sizes)

• Top/upper dies are available in two interfaces: 1/4″-20 UNC and Ø9.5 mm (3/8″) smooth.

• Lower die bases are available in Ø18.95 mm (≈3/4″) smooth and Ø11.95 mm (≈15/32″) smooth.

As a result, the machine is suitable for textile shops, signage production, apparel manufacturing, and light industrial work.

Usage & Recommendations

This model works best for medium-duty production and standard grommet sizes. However, it is not recommended for very thick or heavy materials. For those jobs, the MC-20 Double Cylinder model provides additional power and efficiency.

Safety System

The MC-20 comes with a mica safety cover and dual pneumatic mini-cylinder sensors. These sensors confirm the cover is in place before the cylinder operates. Therefore, the safety system prevents accidents and protects operators. Removing the mica cover may disable the safety feature and should be avoided.
