Description

Our self-piercing brass grommets & washers – Size #12XL (1-1/2″, Extra-Long Neck – 12 mm) are designed for very thick materials up to 10 mm. Each bag includes 500 complete sets (eyelet + washer) in Brass and Nickel finishes. Because they are manufactured from cartridge brass (70% copper and 30% zinc), these grommets provide superior durability, malleability, and long-term performance in both indoor and outdoor applications.

The extra-long neck design delivers a 12 mm LUF, allowing you to fasten dense substrates without compression. As a result, you achieve a clean and secure hold, even on the thickest signage and industrial fabrics.

Installation becomes quick and efficient since they pierce and set in one action with MICRON® machines. This saves time and labor compared to using standard grommets. In addition, the strong Brass and Nickel finishes offer both reliability and a professional appearance, which is why banner shops, industrial textile users, and heavy-duty fabricators trust them.

Applications
SPGW #12XL grommets work perfectly for signs, large banners, vinyl, coroplast, woven polyester, foam board, tarps, tents, and industrial fabrics up to 10 mm thick.

Note
These grommets pierce and set in one step on most substrates. However, they cannot cut through very dense materials such as polyester webbing or elastic. In those cases, you will need a hole-piercing die.
