Description

Our self-piercing brass grommets & washers – Size #3L (7/16″, Long Neck – 9 mm) are designed for thicker materials where regular grommets are not sufficient. Each bag contains 500 complete sets (eyelet + washer) in Brass, Nickel, or Black finishes. Manufactured  from cartridge brass containing 70% copper and 30% zinc, these grommets deliver superior durability, malleability, and long-term performance in both indoor and outdoor applications.

The long neck design offers a 9 mm LUF, making it suitable for substrates up to 6 mm thick. This prevents crushing or distortion during fastening. Sign makers and banner professionals choose these grommets when durability and a secure hold are required.

Installation is fast and efficient. They pierce and set in a single step when used with MICRON® machines. This saves time and improves productivity compared to conventional methods.

With finishes available in Nickel, and Brass, these grommets provide both strength and a professional look for indoor and outdoor applications.

Applications

SPGW #2L grommets are widely used in signs, banners, coroplast, vinyl, woven polyester, foam board, tarps, and heavy-duty fabrics.

Note

These grommets pierce and set in one step on most substrates. However, they do not cut through very dense materials such as polyester webbing or elastic. In those cases, a hole-piercing die is required.
