MICRON® America designs the 5/8″ self piercing grommet setting dies – D-SPGD #5 for users who need durability, speed, and accuracy in grommet installation. Each set includes 2 pcs (upper and lower dies), built from stainless steel to provide rust resistance and long service life. These dies cut and set self-piercing grommets in one single step, helping operators complete jobs faster and with fewer errors.
The spring-action grip keeps each grommet in place during setup. This prevents slipping, ensures exact placement, and allows operators to work more efficiently. In addition, the spring design reduces setup errors and increases overall productivity. As a result, shops can handle high-volume projects without sacrificing quality.
Each die set has a threaded 1/4″ UNC top shaft for easy installation. They are fully compatible with MICRON® America machines, including TEP-3, M-3, DEP-2, MC-20 (Single & Double Cylinder), and MS-1. Moreover, these dies can adapt to other leading grommet presses, giving businesses flexibility when using different equipment.
