MICRON® America sheet metal grommets with neck washers are made from heavy-gauge ALFA brass (70% copper, 30% zinc). Same size and fully compatible with Stimpson grommets and dies. The neck washer design guides smoothly down the machine track, making setting fast and accurate on manual, semi-automatic, and automatic machines, including the MICRON® America M-500.
Material Benefits
ALFA brass, also called cartridge brass, is anti-microbial, non-magnetic, and corrosion-resistant. Strong yet flexible, it sets easily and lasts in both indoor and outdoor environments. Brass may tarnish over time, but tarnish does not affect performance.
